To provide a higher standard of quality and service, and to maintain Pinnacle's standing as a preferred source in the precision machining industry, we are ISO9001:2008/AS9100 Rev. B certified.
In conjunction with our large Brown & Sharpe CNC CMM (39.4" x 25.6"x 2 5.65"), is a smaller B&S manual CMM (18" x 20" x 16"), Excello 14" comparitor, granite plates to ten feet in size, micrometers to 30", inside micrometers to 55", 48" bench centers, and many more tools and gages to facilitate checking from very small to very large work pieces.
Bar-coded travelers and MOT's are utilized to track work-in-process from the minute raw materials arrive until the finished product leaves. Scanning stations are used in strategic locations throughout the facility to allow for real time scheduling, just-in-time ordering of needed materials - all contributing to immediate job status reporting.
Sophisticated measuring instruments include a fully programmable CNC three-axis coordinate measuring machine (3D CMM). Our personnel are highly experienced and educated in geometric dimensioning and tolerancing and know the latest inspection techniques and procedures.
